Last autumn, the Finnish Artists’ Studio Foundation executed an annual enquiry on the amount of the resident artists visiting residency programmes in Finland. The enquiry was sent to 58 residency organisations. The completed report produced related information on nationalities and art fields of the guest artists, selection criteria, administration type of the residency organisations, the development of the residency field etc. The residency organisations were also asked to write also their own views on their operational environment, finances and future.
